Ten Minute Timmy..................................

I decided to make a card for a friends birthday that doubles as a key holder.
I used my cheats version of one of Tims techniques from his 12 days of christmas tags.
Cheat with spray adhere grungeboard bits and metal sheet.
Cheat by using a die cutting machine to emboss the metal to the grunge board
scribble on keys with alcohol pens and sand bits off. .
add ageing with black acrylic and swipe it of before dry.
dry with heat gun.
Add owl from primark earring, coloured with a promarker.
Add various  Timmys bits dangling below
add some hitch fasteners to hang your keys and/or jewellery from.
Write greeting on back.

I didn't have time in the ten minutes, but I think I will make a matching necklace with the other owl.

Have a grungy

  1. Wow what a super fab card! Although you did the quick (cheat) version, how did you do it within 10 minutes? Love it!

  2. Thanks Sandra. It was quite quick to pull together in the ten minutes, as I prepared everything beforehand and planned out all the steps before starting the timer.

  3. Fantastic work, I don't think I could ever get something this impressive in 10 minutes! xx

  4. This would have taken me more like 10 hours Alison! It's great - clever you! Di xx

  5. it would have taken me 10 mins to get going let alone create this stunning piece
