Hi WOYWWers. On my desk today is a second canvas covered in Graphic 45 paper. Not sure what to make with it yet, just too tired to craft after work lately. Skid down to the next but one post [Sunday stampers] to see what I did with the first canvas. Any ideas for this one? the trouble is graphic 45 paper is almost too good to scwoosh over. V traumatic to cut into.
Hop on over to WOYWW to see everyone elses mess, I mean desks!.xx
Love the paper. Thanks for the peek and sharing.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great WOYWW.
xoxo Marjo
Have you tried the technique of buying one sheet to use and another to stroke and look at?

Love minnie_mac's suggestion about buying two sheets, one to use and the other to stroke and look at! Belated Happy WOYWW - up to the eyeballs in wedding samples here :) Di xx
ReplyDeleteIt's a perennial problem for crafters, cutting into their stash! I have the same problem with my fabrics :)

Oh, I have just got to agree with you, in fact I'd say that Graphic45 is almost too gorgeous to use and I have the sweats just thinking about cutting into it. I'm awaiting delivery of the Christmas Emporium pad and I know I'll dither and swither over using it. Maybe I'll just stroke it for a bit. Oh, and I realise this is not helping you one bit ... I've certainly got no useful suggestions :( Hope you have a good week. Elizabeth x #53
ReplyDeleteI like to think of the artwork as being a record of the lovely paper rather than a using up of ;). If I like it enough I do buy multiple copies to avoid the issue though! - definitely agree with the stroke and use method. Also no help at all sorry....
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I’ve just looked back at your first canvas and it’s amazing.
ReplyDeleteBet this one is going to be every bit as fab as the first with all the bright colours and images.
Happy Crafting!
